Happy Happy New Year from all of us to you. I'm so excited to share some amazing things that I'm doing, with you.
I usually don't celebrate New Years in January. Why? Well, how do you celebrate new beginnings when everything is still dead outside? Spring is the official "New Year" in my book. Everything is blooming, blossoming and becoming... New again.
I've been digging into my gifts, my ideas, my feelings & most importantly my gut. I've become more focused on understanding my visions and acting upon them. I'm not scared of the unknown anymore. Fear is a non-factor now. I am the only one holding me back.
This past year, I experienced a few setbacks that made me really want to act. I'm not going to go on a rant about my life-changing experiences but I will say some events have made re-think my WHYs. Why do I do what I do, and also, why do I NOT do what I do. I guess it's more about understanding my own patterns and behaviors. I know my goals and I know the steps I need to take to reach my goals. Soooooooooo, what's the holdup? And the answer is.......IT'S ME!!!!!
In 2018, I was able to act upon my non-profit idea, that's been on my brain for about 3 or 4 years. I connected with 2 amazing & dynamic women, from CD Professional Services and K. Jennings & Associates, LLC, that have helped me create Building Entrepreneurs Now & Tomorrow (BENT). During the year, I also introduced a new networking group for the Greater Baltimore area and Northern Anne Arundel County, Empowerment & Leverage. During the later part of the year, I wondered if sharing my experiences would be beneficial to others and thus here you are reading my personal blog, Authenticity & Intentions. I became more active in my, what I guess you could call my side gig, Smarter Shopping with Us, which is where I share awesome knew high-quality products to consumers and show them how to save money while shopping for what they need.
This year, 2019, I'm going ALL THE WAY IN, in becoming a full-fledged independent entrepreneur. I'm talking 7 streams of income & then some. I'm almost to the point where I'm going to need my own full-time virtual assistant. In 2019, I'm taking a full steam ahead approach. My goal this year is to help as many women as possible begin their entrepreneur journey. Over the past 5 years in business, I have helped on average 2 women a month begin their entrepreneur journey. Some stick to it, some don't. Some are 100% invested, while others are not. From those that I have worked seriously with me or have let me take the lead, I have seen exponential growth. I want to be able to give that same assistance to all. I thought, "Morgan that is not a big number" but then I thought about it while checking my ROI and that's, uh, 2, 12, 24, 5.....120 people in 5 whole years. Give or take. That's a decent ass number to be proud of. That number shows progress and growth.
I have several programs I'm going to be offering in my Facebook group, Tips for Female Entrepreneurs, for FREE. I'm going to be sharing everything I can to help everyone become successful entrepreneurs. Some of the tips I'm going to be sharing are about staying focused, branding, marketing, networking & so much more.
