Take A Stroll With Me On My Hair Journey

So I'm taking this hair journey. I started only about 2 weeks ago. I must say it is going pretty darn well. First I guess I'll start with the problem. Each pregnancy my hair sheds worse and worse. Then it takes at least a year or two for my hair to be half way decent again. Not like I ever had a whole lot of hair but what I had looked good and was quite manageable. Sometimes when I ran my fingers through my hair I'd see so much loss in my hands it was ridiculous. I was a bit distraught but not at the verge of tears because 1. hair is dead and 2. it'll grow back. Well I'm tired of that and I know I can do better.
After my first week

Well I've been reading on different blogs and websites on hair and found one I especially liked named BlackHairInformation.com   On here they have a great regimen for growing long relaxed hair. Now let me tell you how silly I am. Majority of the things that were on there I actually used to do but I always switched it up and never stayed consistent. Young and silly I'd like to say. Well I've dedicated a little bit of time these every day just for my hair. Two weeks in and I haven't seen a single strand of hair on my fingers. Suddenly the thought "whodafool" popped in my head.

Thus far I'm about 8 weeks out from my last relaxer so I've got 4 more to go. I've stopped combing my hair except for when I detangle it after I put in my leave in conditioner. I'm still washing my hair weekly which consists of a deep conditioning for at least 30 minutes, they call this a prepoo. Then I shampoo & condition, while concentrating on massaging my scalp not my hair. I'm supposed to be using a sulfite free shampoo here but I a penny pincher & like to use the last of what I already have but I am running near empty so I'm making plans for the hair store for new product. Next I use my leave in conditioner and detangling comb. Lastly I cross wrap my hair & cap it so it can air dry. That evening after it was dry I put my moisturizer in, massaged my scalp one more time and combed it through before re-cross wrapping for the night.

Come morning my hair looked and smelt wonderful. Finger combed it out and that's all. Oh I forgot to tell when I detangled my hair I barely had any shedding. Remember that's the only time I comb my hair (well I did sneak another one in that night but no shedding at all then)
